Senior Technical Architect

As a Senior Technical Architect at Allianz Technology working for Allianz Personal, you will have a high level of accountability and responsibility in a dynamic environment. Your main activities will involve creating repeatable Architecture Patterns and producing Infrastructure Solution Designs focusing on Security and Service aspects. You will work closely with a variety of Business and Technical Stakeholders, understanding overall Business and IT Strategy, compliance, and ongoing business change requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for Architectural Assurance of Deliveries and QA of Peer Deliverables. Your role will also include researching market-leading Technologies, generating Business cases, and presenting them to Architectural Design Authorities. Your role will not be hands-on, and you will report to the technical lead. However, you may work with Subject Matter Experts to provide Advice & Guidance during implementation. You will be part of a small team of Technical Architects reporting to the Principal Architect for Technology. Collaboration with Solution and Integration Architects is essential to deliver IT Solution Architecture effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Broad experience with Enterprise Technologies - Excellent interpersonal skills to interact at all business levels - Ability to work individually and as part of a team - Translate Business Requirements into Technology, Service, and Security Deliverables - Identify risks and propose mitigations - Practical knowledge of Security and Risk - Experience in producing proposals and justifying Technology Strategies to Senior Business audiences - Support and Design Mission Critical Infrastructure Solutions across various Technologies - Self-start tasks and self-prioritize workload on a daily basis Qualifications Required: - Exposure to large Public Cloud implementations, preferably Azure - Exposure to core Technologies such as Windows, Linux, Web, Middleware, Database, Security Gateways, LAN/WAN Networking, and MuleSoft API management - Designing secure, high-performing, highly available Technology Solutions - IT Security and Risk experience - Experience in a highly regulated environment, such as Financial Services - Degree or HND in Information Technology preferred but not essential - Relevant Technical and Business Qualifications like TOGAF, ITIL preferred but not essential - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies - Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment processes/tools - Experience with Contractual Due Diligence with AI exposure At Allianz, you will be part of a company that values diversity and inclusion.
