Identity Security Engineer Ii Pune

Primary Purpose of Role: The Identity Security Engineer II supports the day-to-day operations of identity and access management (IAM) and identity governance and administration (IGA) processes across the organization. This role focuses on user access provisioning, governance controls, Active Directory administration, cloud identity security, and audit support while developing expertise in IAM/IGA tools and emerging AI-driven security capabilities. The ideal candidate has a robust foundation in IAM and IGA concepts, a detail-oriented mindset, and a passion for learning and growing in cloud and AI security domains. Key Responsibilities: User Access Management: Provision, modify, and deprovision user access across systems in a timely and accurate manner Active Directory Policy Administration: Inform on policy for managing users, groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Azure AD settings Access Reviews & Audit Support: Assist with periodic access certifications, audit requests (SOX, CMMC, NIST, NIS2, TISAX, and other audits), and remediation activities IAM Ticket Operations: Handle access requests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to SLAs Role-Based Access Support: Assist in developing and maintaining RBAC models and access templates aligned to business needs Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Identify and escalate gaps, suspicious access activity, or policy violations Tool Exposure & Learning: Develop working knowledge of Identity Security tools. Documentation & Process Adherence: Follow and help maintain procedures, policies, and standards Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and user experience Key Performance Measures: Accuracy and timeliness of access provisioning and deprovisioning Successful completion of audit and access review activities SLA adherence for request fulfillment Reduction in manual effort through process improvements, automation, and AI Progress in learning and supporting Identity Sec .
