Senior FullStack Developer

Role Overview: As a Senior Full-Stack Developer at Allstate, you will implement applications following 12-factor principles to build out the product and iterative enhancements. You will own the full stack of software products, developing and implementing frontends (web or mobile), and backend services. Your role will involve leveraging test-driven development and continuous integration to ensure agility and quality of products. Additionally, you will actively participate in the decision-making process of the team, ensuring that the simplest appropriate technology and design is chosen to meet user needs. Key Responsibilities: - Provide input into the architecture and design of the product; collaborating with the team in solving problems the right way - Practice daily paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building product - Participate in executing the strategy, keeping the customer needs and wants in mind - Serve as an expert on a specific business domain and demonstrate leadership and accountability on at least one technology stack - Coach more junior team members around different technologies and XP practices - Establish continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices - Provide support for software products in user environments - Lead and participate in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups - Participate in daily stand-up meetings with teams across the globe to ensure alignment and progress and retrospectives to gather feedback and derive actionable items to improve the team and the product - Participate in iteration planning meetings ensuring that the team has a common understanding of each story and chores in a team's backlog - Provide timely updates for assigned tasks in DevOps to maintain transparency and accountability Qualification Required: - Proficiency in front-end frameworks: ReactJS and Angular - Strong programming experience with C# - Minimum of 5 years experience working with Microsoft Azure Web Apps - Dual capability with AWS development and delivery beneficial - At least 5 years of experience with MS SQL Server or Azure SQL - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and collaboration abilities verbally, written and for presentations About Allstate: Joining the Allstate team means being part of something bigger - a winning team making a meaningful impact.
