At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in 3D design, digital mock-ups, and domain-specific engineering in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a highly skilled, innovative, and collaborative team.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and compliance of deliverables within your assigned scope. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (such as sourcing, industrialization, and manufacturing), manage domain activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives – and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of creating and managing 3D models, digital mock-ups, and design reviews, but also ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments.

We’ll look to you for:

Performing 3D design, annotations, and 2D deliverables in compliance with QCD commitments, Metier rules, and processes

Modelling and storing allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems/components in the Digital Mock-Up

Verifying consistency of the digital mock-up and compliance with requirements (e.g., allocated volumes, weight, interfaces)

Preparing and documenting Domain Design Reviews and following up on open actions

Checking the quality of CADs and sub-contractor designs

Realizing stack-up analysis and creating Bills of Material

Planning and piloting Electrical/Mechanical Domain activities for assigned zones

Resolving project issues and ensuring deliverables are aligned with project requirements

Supporting sourcing, industrialization, and manufacturing teams during the production ramp-up

Collaborating with MDL for continuous improvement of the domain

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

Degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical (junior profiles welcome)

Good knowledge of GD&T (ISO and/or ASME) and stack-up calculations

Experience with 3D modelling and drawing creation in an industrial context

Proficiency in CATIA (or equivalent software)

Familiarity with 3D management and good depth perception

Fluency in English

Rigorous and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
