Networks Operations – Governance Analyst

Networks Governance Analyst is expected to work with Core Networks Operations, Design and Build Team & maintain their SLA reporting, identify the improvement areas and start working on the enhancements and publish their reports, dashboards, Focus areas, status in agreed timelines to Senior Management and other Stakeholders. Governance Analyst is completely responsible for driving the enhancements end to end right from identification, planning , building ,execution, monitoring and successful completion of such activities.

Governance Analyst must closely work with Networks Operations Team, Design and Build team understand their day to day activities identify the room for improvements, Automation, Simplification and Optimization with no compromise to quality and the objective must always be increased quality, efficiency and user friendly.

Network Governance Analyst must understand the Business well, this is key for executing & delivering the outcome thereby meeting the expected objectives

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Business Knowledge : Must have a good Business & Organizational Knowledge. This is key to identify new opportunities for enhancements and executing them to achieve the objective

Good understandings on Networking , Security Technologies and ITSM Processes

Good understanding on the Networking Devices (Switches, Access Points, Routers, Modules, accessories etc and SD WAN Concept)

Governance Analyst is responsible for understanding the objectives, planning , execute and keep the stakeholders updated about the status on time and share detailed summary highlighting the Business requirements, issues, what was identified as a workable actions and share their completion details with status which can be published across to the relevant stakeholders

Governance Analyst is responsible to capture all these relevant documentations, dashboards , status summary, Key stakeholders details in the SharePoint and maintain them frequently

Relationship : Network Governance Analyst must collaborate well with stakeholders like internal team, Suppliers, Sourcing , Accounting and third parties and create a visibility for themselves

Network Governance Analyst is expected to do assessment on all the stakeholders and share their pros & cons, Areas of improvement on regular / adhoc timelines

On Technical front , must have basic knowledge on Networks devices , Tools , Ticketing tools

Good problem solving abilities, work with the team to identify actual cause of any incident/event /process identify the workable solution and contribute to their solutions

Team Spirit : Governance Analyst must always work with the team and carry the art of handling issues with very clear communications and collaborate with the team

Communication : Communication is Key ! Timely and right informative communication is the major expectation.

Data handling : Data Analysis and summary is most important. Governance Analyst is expected to study any given data & produce a crisp summary at various levels producing highlights / lowlights , volumetric summary and Risks

Good knowledge on Procurement, procurement tools , Invoice handlings & Finance Knowledge

ITSM Knowledge – Knowledge on Incident , Problem , Change, Capacity, Availability, Configuration , Security Standards , Service levels and Data Management

Tool Knowledge : Must have ITSM Tools Knowledge, Accountable for making necessary updates in CMDB tool at the back of each Project

Qualification

Professional with 4+ years of experience , Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant field , with a Strong Business Knowledge. Good knowledge on Network Infrastructure & operations. Networking certification would be added advantage

Exposure to Project Management, ITIL certifications are added advantage

Understanding of the network devices ( Routers, switches, Access Points, accessories etc.) SDWAN concept

Good Team spirit skills, this role is expected to be coordinating with cross-functional teams

Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve network issues, optimizing performance and minimizing downtime

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and team members, providing regular updates and managing expectations

Good organizational skills ensuring documentations are up to date

Experience with Service Now Platform and reporting module to produce standard and custom report is a plus

Basic Procurement and Finance Tools Management

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

Very strong Influential relationship management skills with stakeholders, senior management, colleagues and external service providers

Good verbal and written communication capabilities with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organisation.

Good problem solving skills and the ability to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts to solve

Supervisory skills and the ability to leverage support from other parts of the organization

Understanding of Technologies & ITSM Tool

Working with Vendors Coordination, negotiation, and persuasion skills

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

Networking Tools, Monitoring Tools

MS Office – Power points, Power BI Advanced Excel in particular

Building Dashboards

Analytical Techniques

Expense Management
