Could you be the full-time "Safety Assurance Manager " in Bengaluru we’re looking for? Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your safety assurance and project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and innovative team of professionals.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the safety of CBTC signalling systems, delivering solutions that meet the highest safety standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Core Team, Engineering Metiers, Quality, RAM, Cybersecurity, and others), coordinate safety assurance activities, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of performing safety analyses and managing hazard logs, but also defining safety plans and building safety reports or cases.

We’ll look to you for:

Coordinating all safety assurance activities on CBTC systems for projects, as per defined safety processes

Performing safety analyses, managing hazard logs, and reviewing RAM, Cyber, V&V, and T&C activities from a safety perspective

Defining safety plans and managing safety workload and associated planning

Building safety reports and cases, and defending safety case arguments with internal and external assessors

Organizing and attending periodic safety reviews

Managing Safety Assurance Engineers involved in the project (if applicable)

Supporting tenders and regional center teams to integrate product/system into projects

Applying safety assurance methodologies, including risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, and verification and validation

Advanced university or engineering degree (System, Electrical, Electronics, or Electromechanical engineering knowledge is a plus)

Mastery of CENELEC standards for safety (or equivalent standards such as AREMA, IEEE)

5 years of successful experience in safety assurance, including at least 2 years in the railway business

Experience in safety methodology and concepts/principles

Proficiency in English for technical documentation (reading and writing)

Structured and organized approach to work

Proactive behavior with a strong sense of anticipation and urgency

Ability to manage teams and allocate tasks effectively

Strong resilience under pressure and excellent problem-solving skills

Training capability in safety practices
