Could you be the full-time Trackside V&V Designer in Charleroi we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and scientific expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, innovative, and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a key role in driving excellence and innovation in [specific area of the role]. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., test & integration, system engineering, and safety assurance), analyze complex problems, and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art solutions, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of [specific examples like system testing and integration], but also [another example, such as ensuring compliance with international standards].

We’ll look to you for:

Performing analytical assessments and providing solutions to complex technical issues

Contributing to the integration and testing of systems

Collaborating on interoperability tests and site test tracks

Applying your knowledge of ETCS L1/L2, CBTC, or interlocking solutions

Working effectively with tools such as IA, Python, and C/C++

Ensuring compliance with UNISIG standards

Graduated with a degree in engineering or a scientific field (mandatory)

Master’s degree in engineering or scientific topics (desirable)

Full professional proficiency in English (mandatory)

Good analytical skills and prior experience in test & integration, system engineering, or safety assurance

Knowledge of at least one Alstom platform

Familiarity with ETCS L1/L2, CBTC, and interlocking solutions

Experience with site test tracks and interoperability tests

Comfortable using UNISIG standards

Proficiency with tools such as IA, Python, and/or C/C++

Open-minded and entrepreneurial mindset

Strong problem-setting and problem-solving skills

Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate teams

Sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize effectively

Excellent writing skills with clarity, rigor, and concision
