Could you be theVIE – RAMS Engineer we’re looking for?
Your future role
We’ll look to you for:
Performing reliability and safety analyses and producing deliverables in line with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments
Applying Alstom’s Engineering and RAMS processes and instructions
Delivering RAMS analyses that meet customer and project requirements
Addressing customer and independent party comments to secure approvals for RAMS deliverables
Assessing the RAMS performance of products and identifying necessary requirements to meet targets
Reporting on progress while proactively addressing challenges and fostering continuous improvement

Degree in Rolling Stock Engineering, Electrical or Electro-mechanical Engineering, or a related field (training in RAMS competency will be provided)
Experience or understanding of RAMS analysis and demonstration methods and tools
Knowledge of engineering processes and safety standards
Familiarity with technical documentation in French and English
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Effective time management and organizational skills
A proactive and structured approach to problem-solving

Bilingualism
Proficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset when working with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
