Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a vital role in the validation phase of several projects, ensuring successful revenue service and contributing to the safe and reliable operation of rolling stock in its real-world context. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (validation, operability designers, and factory teams), troubleshoot technical issues during testing and commissioning, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of organizing test platforms and preparing test procedures, but also support train integration and validation activities.

We’ll look to you for:

Organizing relevant test platforms (e.g., simulators, measurement tools)

Preparing or ensuring the preparation of all test procedures

Ensuring safety conditions are met during tests and briefing the team on safety matters

Providing support during train integration and validation

Ensuring all tests are performed with calibrated tools

Managing quality activities, including configuration management and anomaly tracking

Troubleshooting technical issues during the testing and commissioning phase

Providing local support to the factory for debugging and fine-tuning activities

Supporting supplier interface testing

Contributing to lessons learned and continuous improvement within your domain

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

Degree in industrial IT, automation, or a related technical field

Experience or understanding of network topologies and interfaces (e.g., Serial, Ethernet, MVB, and other industrial communication networks)

Knowledge of embedded systems

Familiarity with testing and validation processes

Skills in electrical investigation to verify consistency between train wiring and schematics

  • Ability to conduct software investigations to identify issues or variables to adjust

  • Strong analytical skills, methodology, and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of German is a plus

  • You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Important to note

  • As a global business, we’re an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in. We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.

One address, no account. We’ll tell you when matching roles go live.
