About the role
As a Senior Frontend Developer at Alterys Technologies Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Strong expertise in React.js, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 for responsive UI development - Experience in REST API integration and state management using Redux / Context API - Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or Bootstrap - Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket) - Working knowledge of Agile workflows using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps - Prior experience in frontend security and compliance, especially in handling sensitive data such as financial or payment information - Understanding of authentication & authorization, RBAC, session management, and secure token handling - Knowledge of data masking, compliance-aware UI design, and security measures like Content Security Policy (CSP) and secure cookie configurations Additionally, you should have experience in: - Building applications for financial, payment, or sensitive user data (PII) - Working on payment or banking platforms, lending or insurance systems, KYC/AML workflows, or financial operations software - Developing admin portals with complex permission models It would be beneficial if you are proficient in: - Testing frameworks like Jest, RTL, or Cypress - Performance optimization tools such as DevTools and Lighthouse - Basic CI/CD processes and Docker knowledge In this role, you are expected to: - Translate Figma/XD designs into production-ready UI - Develop reusable and scalable frontend components - Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and performance of the applications - Collaborate effectively with backend and product teams - Utilize AI coding tools like Copilot and ChatGPT efficiently To excel in this position, you should be a product-minded developer with a strong attention to detail and clean code practices. Your focus will be on building secure frontend architectures for financial applications, implementing authorization and data-access controls, and ensuring UI compliance with security and audit requirements. Please note that this role is not related to WordPress or static website development; candidates must have hands-on experience in building real software products, preferably in the SaaS or fintech domain.
