Role & responsibilities Job Title: Business Analyst (Scrum) Experience: 4-9 Years Location: Bangalore, India Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Agile Scrum expertise to bridge business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience gathering and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting Agile product delivery. This role requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business requirements. Conduct requirement elicitation sessions, workshops, and interviews. Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, process flows, and use cases. Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements. Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams. Define acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Manage requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Support change management and impact analysis. Scrum / Agile Responsibilities Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams in an Agile environment. Create, refine, and prioritize user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Participate actively in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives. Assist Product Owners in backlog grooming and prioritization. Clarify business requirements during sprint execution. Ensure delivered features align with business objectives. Support sprint demos and stakeholder reviews. Help identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies. Track delivery progress and communicate updates to stakeholders. Required Skills 49 years of experience as a Business Analyst. Strong experience working in Agile Scrum environments. Expertise in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation. Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and workflow diagrams. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and SDLC. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with stakeholder management across business and technical teams. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools. Strong knowledge of SQL for data analysis is preferred. Experience with UAT planning and execution. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent) is preferred. CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or equivalent Business Analysis certification is an advantage. Preferred Domain Experience Banking & Financial Services Insurance Healthcare Retail E-commerce Manufacturing Telecom Nice to Have Experience with API integrations and digital transformation projects. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Familiarity with BPMN, UML, or process modeling tools.
