The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Build and deploy Microservices-based applications following industry best practices. Develop secure, reusable, and high-performance RESTful APIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Frontend Developers. Participate in system architecture, design discussions, and code reviews. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Implement security, logging, monitoring, and exception-handling mechanisms. Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical excellence within the team. Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8–12 years of software development experience in Java backend technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Good to Have Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare, or Digital Transformation projects. Exposure to Event-Driven Architecture. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is a plus. Knowledge of container orchestration and cloud-native application development.
