About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design cum Estimation Engineer to support the design and costing of HVAC projects, specifically focusing on VRF and Chillers solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing designs, load calculations, BOQs, cost estimations, and should be proficient in AutoCAD. This role requires close coordination with the sales and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive project proposals. Responsibilities: Prepare HVAC system designs and layouts (VRF and Chillers) using AutoCAD. Perform heat load calculations, ducting, and piping designs as per project requirements. Develop BOQ (Bill of Quantities), equipment selection, and technical documentation. Prepare cost estimates and support the sales team with technical proposals. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for pricing and technical inputs. Assist in project planning and provide design-related technical support to project teams. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations in designs. Review project specifications and provide optimized solutions in line with customer requirements. Support the project team during execution with design clarifications and updates. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 1 3 years of experience in HVAC Design and Estimation (VRF and Chillers preferred). Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, design principles, and estimation practices. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and HVAC design software/tools. Knowledge of ISHRAE/ASHRAE standards and local HVAC regulations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
