Junior QA Engineer

You will be joining Alyke, a product-based social networking startup that is revolutionizing how people connect and make friends. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will not only focus on testing but also think like an engineer, with a passion for problem-solving and a keen eye for quality. This role is perfect for individuals with strong DSA fundamentals, coding skills, and a keen interest in automation and quality engineering. Role Overview: - Test backend APIs, mobile applications, and user journeys - Identify bugs, edge cases, and system failures - Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing - Write detailed bug reports with root-cause hypotheses Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain automated test cases - Utilize tools like Playwright, Appium, Selenium for automation - Develop API automation suites - Contribute to CI/CD quality gates Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms including Arrays, Strings, Hash Maps, Stacks & Queues, Trees & Graphs, Sorting & Searching - Proficiency in JavaScript or Python programming - Experience in API Testing using tools like Postman - Familiarity with databases, SQL, debugging, SDLC, and STLC At Alyke, you'll have the opportunity to work on a consumer product used by real users daily and be a part of a team that values quality in every aspect of their engineering culture.
