Device Associate, Device OS Tech Support

Description Ensure to execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on the mobile platform Perform daily quality checks as per established guidelines and report deviations accurately Understand and ramp up on testing procedures, guidelines and policies for new devices and apply the same in day-to-day work. Use software tools for validation, analysis and data capture on a daily basis Be comfortable with capturing results, communicating and escalating failures and providing status reports Key job responsibilities Follow SOP/ predefined test cases and execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on multiple platform Raise defects for all failures observed and track doubts related to the execution of test instructions through pre-defined mechanisms Responsible for security and maintenance of the company assets, accessories and devices allocated to perform daily operations Understand testing procedures, guidelines and policies for new devices and apply the same in day-to-day work. Use software tools for validation, analysis and data capture daily Capture and communicate test results, escalate failures. Deep Dive on defects identify rootcuase etc. Identify improvements that help project key metrics such as productivity, defect leakage, quality in work assignments, errors, mismatches etc. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree Knowledge of QA methodology and tools Preferred Qualifications Good Communication Testing Knowledge Good Analytical Skill Experience of testing consumer devices will be a plus.
