RTL IP Design Engineer

As an RTL IP Design Engineer at AMD, you will play a crucial role in bringing cutting-edge designs to life within the Networking Technology Solutions Group. Your responsibilities will include defining product features and micro-architecture requirements, creating technical specifications for IP blocks, and collaborating across teams to ensure first pass silicon success. Key Responsibilities: - Define product features and micro-architecture requirements - Create technical specifications for IP blocks and provide technical guidance to design teams - Work with IP/Domain architects to identify and resolve complex technical issues - Ensure high-quality design deliverables through design qualifications like lint, CDC, and synthesis - Collaborate with Design teams for Area and Floorplan refinement, Verification Test plan reviews, and Timing targets - Support Post-Si teams for Product Performance, Power, and functional issues debug/resolution Preferred Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in Silicon IP development process and design methodologies - Proficiency in Verilog RTL design, simulation, linting, CDC, scripting, etc. - Detailed understanding of networking IP solutions such as Ethernet and security protocols - Knowledge of PCIe is a plus - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work across teams in different geographies Academic Credentials: - Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering or Electrical Engineering Please note that AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
