RF Engineering Director

Strategic Leadership: • Develop and execute strategies for fiber network design, deployment, and maintenance. • Lead cross-functional teams to align with company goals and customer needs. • Plan and execute large-scale fiber network initiatives. 2. Project Management: • Manage all aspects of fiber network engineering, including design standards, permits and TCP • Monitor and ensure contractual performance metrics are exceeding the targets 3. Team Development: • Build and lead a high-performing engineering team by recruiting, training, and mentoring staff. • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the team. 4. Customer Experience Improvement: • Ensuring timely delivery of customer assignments and elevating the quality standards • Address customer feedback by proactively identifying and resolving issues. 5. Stakeholder Engagement: • Act as a technical resource for senior leadership in decision-making processes. • Build relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and other stakeholders. 6. Technology Optimization: • Stay updated on emerging technologies in fiber optics to drive innovation. • Rationalize tools and processes to optimize efficiency in design, deployment, and maintenance. Qualifications 1. Education: • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred. 2. Experience: • 15–20 years of experience in fiber network engineering or telecommunications. • At least 5 years in a leadership role managing large-scale projects or teams. 3. Skills: • Strong knowledge of fiber optic technologies, including design principles, splicing techniques, testing methodologies, and industry standards. • Expertise in project management tools and methodologies. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 4. Technical Proficiency: • Familiarity with network design software and tools (e.g., GIS systems). • Understanding of federal/state regulations related to broadband deployment.
