About the role
Role Overview: We \are seeking a skilled Lead .NET Developer with strong AWS experience to join our Application Development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud-native applications that support client’s financial platforms, ensuring high performance, security, and compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and AWS cloud services. • Design and implement microservices and APIs to support financial transactions, reporting, and advisor tools. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Owners to deliver secure and scalable solutions. • Ensure applications meet FINRA, SEC, and other regulatory requirements. • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other tools. • Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API). • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ECS, AWS Glue, Cloud Watch). • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data protection in financial applications. • Experience with SQL Server. PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases. • Elk Kibana Logging • Dynatrace • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/EKS). • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: • AWS Certification (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect). • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform). • Knowledge of financial services domain, especially wealth management or brokerage platforms. • Experience with front-end technologies (Angular, React) is a plus. • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
