Business Systems Analyst-Tech

As a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) at Ameriprise India LLP, you will have the opportunity to partner closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Scrum teams to deliver highquality solutions across complex financial systems. Your role will involve leading business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, including discovery, requirements definition, user story creation, testing, and implementation support. You will act as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring clear traceability from business needs to technical delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Partner closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Scrum teams to deliver highquality solutions. - Lead business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, including discovery, requirements definition, user story creation, testing, and implementation support. - Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring clear traceability from business needs to technical delivery. - Mentor junior analysts, lead requirements and testing efforts, and collaborate with onshore partners to successfully deliver initiatives aligned with business objectives. - Collaborate with Scrum team, especially with Product Owner, developers, testers, UX, and Solution Architect. - Create, refine, and groom User stories. - Use/incorporate Wireframes. - Understand/leverage historical Mainframe/CICS based applications and user interface. - Lead projects for on-shore business partners. - Manage multiple work assignments effectively and shift priorities as needed. - Deliver articulate communications and concisely summarize information. - Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree or equivalent and minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience. - Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. - Extensive experience collaborating with Scrum teams. - In-depth knowledge of business operations and processes. - Experience with project methodology and project life cycles. - Effective written communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: - Project-related experience with financial or brokerage applications. - Experience developing and revising business processes. - Flexibility to work in night shifts.
