Key Responsibilities: - Design, prototype, develop, and deploy cloud-based full-stack applications using modern software engineering practices and Generative AI technologies. - Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces using React and TypeScript across devices and browsers. - Develop reusable UI components, design patterns, APIs, modules, integrations, reports, and enhancements to improve scalability, maintainability, and user experience. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into production-ready solutions. - Lead technical design discussions, define engineering standards, and best practices. - Ensure software quality through clean code, automated testing, and performance optimization. - Create and maintain technical documentation for architecture, design, and deployment. - Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance improvements for production applications. - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to improve platform quality. - Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle. - Work in Agile/SAFe environments using JIRA, Confluence, and Agile DevOps tools for incremental delivery. Qualifications Required: Basic Qualifications: - Doctorate degree / Master's degree / Bachelor's degree and 8 to 13 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Must-Have Skills: - Solid understanding and experience in cloud computing principles, particularly within the AWS ecosystem. - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript along with popular front-end frameworks like React or Angular. - Proficiency in Python/PySpark development, Fast API, REST APIs, Databricks, DevOps Tools, CI/CD, Data Ingestion, and GraphQL. - In-depth knowledge of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data architecture principles. - Experienced with API integration, serverless, microservices, and Event-driven architecture. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile delivery practices, and DevOps practices. Good-to-Have Skills: - Experience with AI-assisted code development using tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code. - Experience in biotechnology or pharma industry. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk. Education and Professional Certifications: - AWS Certified Cloud, Data Engineer, Developer, or Solutions Architect preferred. - Databricks Certificate preferred. - Scaled Agile SAFe certification preferred. Soft Skills: - Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams. - High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and organization. - Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
