Sr. Engineer/Engineer - Production (Filter)

Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Production Engineer/Sr. Engineer for the Filter Manufacturing Division. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, achieving production targets, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in the filter manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: Execute and monitor daily production activities for filter manufacturing operations. Ensure production targets are achieved as per planning schedules. Maintain process discipline, SOP compliance, and GMP practices on the shop floor. Monitor manpower utilization, machine efficiency, and productivity improvements. Coordinate with QA/QC, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments for smooth operations. Handle production documentation including batch records, production reports, and shift reports. Ensure proper implementation of safety standards and 5S practices. Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce rejection and increase yield. Monitor raw material consumption and minimize wastage. Support validation, qualification, and troubleshooting activities related to production equipment. Train and guide operators and technicians on production processes and quality requirements. Ensure compliance with ISO/GMP and company quality standards. Required Skills: Knowledge of filter manufacturing processes and production operations. Understanding of GMP, ISO, and quality systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of production planning and process optimization. Good communication and team handling skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
