IT Security Analyst

Role Overview: As an IT Security Analyst at AMINA, you will play a crucial role as a senior individual contributor within the modern Security Operations Center (SOC). Key Responsibilities: - Security Monitoring & Triage (Tier 1): - Monitor and triage alerts from various security platforms such as SIEM, XDR, EDR, endpoint, identity, cloud, and application security. - Assess alerts to differentiate between false positives and genuine security events. - Maintain an operational overview of active alerts, incidents, and emerging risks. - Incident Investigation & Response (Tier 2): - Conduct technical investigations into escalated incidents across various environments. - Lead containment, mitigation, and recovery efforts in coordination with IT Operations and vendors. - Provide clear conclusions, impact assessments, and remediation recommendations. - Produce concise incident and post-incident reports. - End-to-End Ownership: - Own incidents and investigations throughout the entire lifecycle. - Proactively track tasks, follow-ups, and dependencies. - Ensure actions are completed, validated, and documented appropriately. - Escalate when necessary with context and recommended next steps. Qualifications Required: - 58+ years of experience in SOC, security operations, incident response, or related roles. - Proven experience in Tier 1 and Tier 2 SOC responsibilities. - Strong technical understanding of endpoint, identity, cloud, and application security. - Ability to work independently in dynamic environments. - Experience collaborating with IT Operations and third-party security providers. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise interactions.
