Product Design Engineer

You will be responsible for translating theoretical complex product and designs into physical processes and prototyping concepts together with R&D Engineers and other relevant stakeholders. Your role will involve early identification of potential bottlenecks and recommending alternatives according to the feasibility of making and testing the first prototype and manufacturability of the design. You will also recommend improvements in the quality of products and processes by proposing better/simpler alternatives. Additionally, you will be supporting and advising the development of products and modifications, as well as advising on solutions to issues and problems that arise in new products and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Translate theoretical complex product and designs into physical processes and prototyping concepts - Identify potential bottlenecks and recommend alternatives - Recommend improvements in the quality of products and processes - Support and advise the development of products and modifications - Advise on solutions to issues and problems in new products and processes Qualifications Required: - B. Tech from a mechanical background - 4-10 years of working experience in New Product Development (NPD) - Ability to translate a technical idea into a practical approach - Extended knowledge of 3D CAD design - Extended knowledge of measurement equipment and methods - Supportive attitude Please note that the CTC for this position is 3-6 LPA fixed plus incentives and Company ESOPs.
