About the role
Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain ETL packages using SSIS. - Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions. - Create interactive reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI. - Develop OLAP cubes and data models using SSAS. - Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple data sources. - Monitor and optimize database performance. - Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting - Troubleshoot data and reporting issues. - Maintain technical documentation and data flow processes. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. Required Skills - Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server. - Good understanding of SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and functions. - Hands-on knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS. - Understanding of ETL and Data Warehousing concepts. - Knowledge of database design and normalization. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills - Experience with Power BI dashboards and DAX. - Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or Azure SQL. - Understanding of Data Modeling and OLAP Cubes. - Familiarity with Git or Azure, AWS DevOps. - Exposure to performance tuning and query optimization. .
