Power Bi Developer

Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Microsoft Power BI. Gather and understand business requirements from stakeholders and convert them into effective reporting solutions. Connect Power BI to various data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms. Develop and optimize data models using Power Query, DAX, and data transformation techniques. Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation. Create reusable datasets, reports, and dashboards following best practices. Monitor report performance and optimize data refresh and dashboard loading times. Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reporting solutions. Schedule and manage report refreshes and Power BI Service deployments. Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and maintain data governance standards. Support existing reports by resolving issues and implementing enhancements. Document dashboards, data models, and technical specifications. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and Microsoft BI technologies. Preferred candidate profile :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 05 years of experience in Power BI development, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics. Strong understanding of Microsoft Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Builder. Good knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M Language), and data modeling techniques. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and relational databases. Experience connecting Power BI with multiple data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, Azure, REST APIs, or cloud databases.
