About the role
Perform manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications Understand business and functional requirements to create detailed test cases and scenarios Execute API testing using Postman and validate backend integrations Collaborate closely with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and recommend preventive measures Ensure thorough testing coverage across functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing Participate in requirement discussions and provide input from a QA perspective Work effectively under tight deadlines and extend hours when project demands require Maintain clear documentation of test results, defects, and release validations Required Skills Strong knowledge of Manual Testing Concepts, SDLC, and STLC Basic experience in Automation Testing using Java + Selenium Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with development and product teams Good understanding of root cause analysis and defect lifecycle Ability to perform requirement analysis and identify missing or unclear areas early Preferred QualificationsBachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Basic exposure to TestNG, Maven, or Cucumber frameworks Knowledge of SQL for basic data validation Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take ownership in a fast-paced project environment
