Head of Engineering - Full Stack Development

As a strategic and hands-on engineering leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering organization with a focus on platform unification, architectural excellence, and driving high-velocity, high-quality product delivery across multiple product lines. Key Responsibilities: - Define common technical architecture, data models, and API standards for platform unification. - Co-own the product roadmap, ensuring bug-free releases and optimizing release velocity through automation and CI/CD pipelines. - Mandate and implement AI-assisted code generation and automated testing practices. - Lead and scale an engineering organization of 50+ members, mentoring Engineering Managers and establishing clear career tracks. - Own overall product quality, ensuring adherence to strict QA and security gates. Required Qualifications: - 14 - 20 years in software engineering, with 5+ years of experience leading large teams of 50+ engineers. - Expertise in Multi-tenant SaaS, Microservices, and Event-driven systems. - Proven track record in technical architecture, platform consolidation, and team restructuring. - Strong background in Java, Node.js, Python, or PHP ecosystems. - Experience in Retail Tech, ERP, POS, or OMS domains is highly preferred. - Direct experience in leading AI-transformation or AI-assisted engineering initiatives.
