About the role
About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Assist in planning daily production and machine loading across gear cutting (hobbing, thread milling), CNC and conventional turning, HMC/VMC machining, and assembly 2. Follow up on job progress on the shop floor: allocate work with supervisors, track schedules, flag bottlenecks 3. Carry out in-process and final quality checks: read engineering drawings, learn gear measurements (MOP/MOT/span), fits and tolerances 4. Coordinate castings and outsourced operations with foundries and vendors 5. Support preventive maintenance planning, tooling, and consumables for the machine shop 6. Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering 2. 1-2 years hands-on experience in a machine shop or manufacturing plant (gear manufacturing exposure a strong plus) 3. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings 4. Exposure to CNC machines (FANUC / Siemens controls) preferred 5. Fluent Hindi or Marathi; working English 6.
