As a Site Reliability Engineer at Anaplan, your main responsibility is to support the production platforms, including participating in the on-call rotation. You will continuously work on improving the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. Additionally, you will develop automation solutions, collaborate with engineering teams across the business, and contribute to platform-wide performance improvements. Working together on team projects to enhance automation, you will also help in setting standards for the software operating environment and provide support and operations experience to development teams. Your troubleshooting skills will be crucial in resolving incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, and working on scripting and tools to enhance automation and reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Support production platforms and participate in the on-call rotation - Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of systems - Develop automation solutions and collaborate with engineering teams - Work on team projects to enhance automation - Contribute to setting standards for the software operating environment - Provide support to development teams - Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, conduct root-cause analysis - Work on scripting and tools for automation and reliability Qualifications Required: - Experience in Linux administration - Experience with Kubernetes administration - Proficiency in a scripting language for automation tasks - Familiarity with configuration management tools - Experience in operating a production platform with live services - Knowledge of common public clouds, especially Azure - Experience with production on-call duties and incident management - Hands-on experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) - Experience with Event Streaming, Exception Management, and Integration technologies such as Apache Pulsar - Knowledge of observability and monitoring best practices - Prior experience in mentoring or coaching other engineers Anaplan is committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) and believes in fostering an inclusive culture to strengthen the business.
