Description of Task to be Performed:
AnaVation is seeking a Sr Systems Administrator to join our team and support our mission critical customer in Reston, VA.
As a Sr Systems Administrator you will:
Plan, design, and implement infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
Manage and troubleshoot multiple VMware environments.
Provide Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Create STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.
Create, test, and deploy software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc.
Provide expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior System Administrator personnel.
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.
Utilize scripting to automate common tasks.
Perform hardware maintenance/repair activities.
Ensure proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.
Provide advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers.
