Business Analyst (Power BI & SQL)

As a Business Analyst specializing in Power BI and SQL, your role will involve working closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into analytical and reporting solutions. You will be responsible for designing meaningful business metrics, KPIs, and dashboards using Power BI Desktop & Service. Additionally, you will write, validate, and optimize complex SQL queries on large, complex datasets to support reporting and analysis. Your responsibilities will include performing data analysis, data validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with BI Engineers and QA to ensure end-to-end data quality and business logic correctness. - Utilize DAX and Power Query to create efficient calculations, transformations, and data models. - Apply strong financial and analytical acumen to derive insights and support data-driven decision making. - Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality analytics solutions under tight timelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration. - 4-6 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Power BI, SQL, and data analysis. - Proven experience in designing and developing business metrics, KPIs, and dashboards. - Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries on large datasets. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences.
