Cognos Administrator

In this role, you will be expected to: - Have a basic knowledge of reporting and analytics using the Cognos 11+ Analytics Suite. - Be able to query Oracle and SQL Server databases. - Gather and analyze end-user requirements to build specifications. - Adapt to new BI technologies. - Troubleshoot reporting issues by querying databases. - Train and support Cognos end-users on primary navigation in Cognos Connection. - Absorb and present complex ideas quickly and accurately. - Provide solutions within tight deadlines. - Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time well. - Maintain a positive approach towards work and fellow team members. - Demonstrate a commitment to data quality throughout the development process. - Train and support Cognos end-users on Self-Service functionality in Cognos Analytics. - Have completed Oracle SQL training or have equivalent experience. - Have completed SQL Server Management Studio training or have equivalent experience. - Cognos BI 11+ training would be a plus. - Exposure to other market-leading BI Tools such as Tableau and PowerBI would be an advantage. Please note that Cognos Framework Manager training is a plus for this role.
