About the role
Develops advanced technical solutions for the management of software, hardware, configurations, and architectures. Provides interpretation of systems matters that are highly complex. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery. Provides troubleshooting support for system hardware and software issues that are highly difficult in scope. Advises less experienced personnel on workstation/server data integrity matters and implements standard software and hardware solutions. Helps to develop performance and security plans for computer systems that meet the needs of network users. Guides less experienced personnel. Establishes operational plans and may manage large projects Manages accounts, privileges, and system access Manage system resource in the monitoring of performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability Implement security procedures, resolve hardware and software interface and interoperability problems Ensure system availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency, and maintain system configuration and documentation Participates in special projects as required. Manage and maintain enterprise-level servers and infrastructure Develops and implements testing strategies and document results. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
