About the role
As an Architect/Lead with at least 9+ years of experience, you will be responsible for architecting and leading WCS based implementations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading IBM WebSphere Commerce Server (WCS) Version 9.x projects from requirements analysis through architecture/design, development, and deployment - Developing APIs and customizations for WCS 9 Headless commerce - Demonstrating strong knowledge and hands-on skills expertise in subsystems like Order, Catalog, etc - Applying your expertise in WCS key concepts such as REST, SOA, and BOD - Utilizing object-oriented principles and concepts - Developing APIs for mobile apps, which would be a plus - Collaborating as a team player, sharing knowledge, improving processes, and developing systematic solutions to problem patterns - Utilizing solid problem-solving and solution skills - Making architectural decisions for WCS API-led development - Interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle - Creating high-level design and leading architectural decisions Qualifications required for this role include: - At least 9+ years of experience in being Architect/Lead for WCS based implementations - Strong understanding and hands-on experience in WCS key concepts like REST, SOA, and BOD - Experience with object-oriented principles and concepts If there are any additional details about the company in the job description, please provide them separately.
