Blockchain / Digital Assets Engineering Lead | Financial Services Location: Hyderabad Experience: 12 - 18+ Years Joining Preference: Candidates serving up to 3060 days' notice Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Blockchain / Digital Assets Engineering Lead to build and lead high-performing engineering teams focused on developing next-generation Blockchain, Digital Asset, and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) solutions for leading Financial Services clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in blockchain platforms, smart contracts, distributed ledger technologies, and modern full-stack application development, coupled with strong technical leadership and delivery experience. Key Responsibilities Engineering Leadership Build, mentor, and lead high-performing Blockchain & Digital Assets engineering teams. Establish engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and development best practices. Drive technical excellence, innovation, code quality, and delivery governance. Solution Architecture & Technology Strategy Design scalable, secure, enterprise-grade Blockchain and Digital Asset platforms. Define architecture standards and guide technology roadmaps. Evaluate emerging blockchain technologies and recommend strategic solutions. Blockchain & Smart Contract Development Design and develop Blockchain applications on the Solana ecosystem. Build, test, and optimize smart contracts using Solidity, Rust, and Solang . Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance Digital Asset platforms. DAML & Canton Development Develop Digital Asset solutions using DAML 3.0 and Canton . Design smart contracts, workflows, and integrations with enterprise applications. Implement automated testing and deployment for DAML solutions. Full Stack Engineering Develop modern applications using: Node.js Express.js React.js JavaScript / TypeScript Build REST APIs and Microservices. Work with PostgreSQL and SQL databases. DevSecOps & Engineering Excellence Establish CI/CD pipelines across applications and smart contracts. Drive DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, and release automation. Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and production readiness. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and clients. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Lead Agile delivery, sprint planning, estimation, and engineering governance. Required Skills 12 - 18+ years of software engineering experience. Strong experience leading Blockchain or Digital Asset engineering teams. Hands-on expertise with Solana , Solidity , Rust , and Solang . Experience with DAML 3.0 and Canton Platform . Strong knowledge of Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT). Expertise in Node.js, Express.js, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript . Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL databases. Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevSecOps. Excellent solution architecture, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills. Preferred Experience Financial Services, Capital Markets, Payments, or Banking domain. Experience in Tokenization, Digital Assets, Smart Contracts, and Enterprise Blockchain. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience building enterprise-grade Blockchain platforms from concept to production.
