About the role
As a Senior ETL Developer specializing in Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), your role will involve designing, developing, and supporting ETL solutions for enterprise banking data migration projects. You will work on data quality, data integration initiatives, and participate in banking data migration and transformation projects to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and supporting ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IDMC/IICS). - Participating in banking data migration and transformation projects, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. - Developing and optimizing ETL workflows, mappings, taskflows, and reusable components. - Working extensively with Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 databases. - Performing data profiling, data quality assessment, and reconciliation activities. - Implementing and supporting CDC (Change Data Capture) and incremental data loading strategies. - Designing and maintaining dimensional data models and metadata repositories. - Collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions. - Participating in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities. - Following DevOps and CI/CD practices, including source code management and deployment automation. Required Skills: - 7 - 10 years of experience in ETL Development within Banking or Financial Services environments. - Strong hands-on experience with: - Informatica PowerCenter - Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS) - Connectors, Taskflows, and Monitoring Dashboards - Robust knowledge of: - SQL and PL/SQL - Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and DB2 - Data Profiling and Data Reconciliation - Data Warehousing concepts and Dimensional Modelling - Metadata Management and CDC concepts - Experience with Banking Data Migration projects is mandatory. - Exposure to Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. Good to Have: - Experience in Core Banking migration programs. - Exposure to cloud data integration technologies. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and release management processes. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs. Preferred Industry: - Banking - Financial Services - BFSI Education: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
