Java Backend Developer Job Title: Java Backend Developer Experience: 7 - 10 Years Location: Bangalore Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Candidates who can join within 030 days preferred Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with 710 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and Cloud technologies , with a passion for building robust enterprise-grade solutions. Candidates available to join immediately or within 30 days will be given preference. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot . Develop and enhance Microservices-based architectures. Build secure, reusable, and high-performing RESTful APIs . Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following coding standards. Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. Implement CI/CD pipelines and support cloud-native deployments. Contribute to system architecture and technical improvements. Required Skills 7 - 10 years of experience in Java Backend Development. Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17 . Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA . Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture . Experience building REST APIs . Good understanding of Hibernate/JPA . Strong SQL skills with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server . Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms . Familiarity with Redis or caching technologies. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes . Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms. Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins , and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of design patterns, OOP concepts, and multithreading. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Good to Have Experience with Spring Cloud . Knowledge of API Gateway . Experience with OpenShift . Exposure to ElasticSearch . Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito , and unit testing frameworks. Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. Exposure to Banking, FinTech, Payments, or Product-based organizations. Preferred Candidate Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.
