About the role
Senior Java Developer – R&D Team Anoud Technologies is hiring a Senior Java Developer with 6–8 years of experience to join our R&D team in Chennai (Work From Office). ⚠️ Note: Only immediate joiners will be considered for this role. About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance applications as part of our R&D team, contributing to innovative research-driven projects and next-generation product development. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications and microservices Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to translate research concepts into production-ready solutions Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code Participate in architecture and design discussions, driving technical decisions Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application scalability and reliability Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Product teams throughout the SDLC Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems Contribute to technical documentation and best practices Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 6–8 years of hands-on experience in Java development Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA Experience with RESTful web services and microservices architecture Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) Familiarity with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control (Git) Understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Good to Have Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Prior experience in a product-based or R&D-focused organization Exposure to performance tuning and system optimization at scale Location: Chennai (Work From Office) Employment Type: Full-Time Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only
