About the role
As an engineering professional interested in joining ANSR MedTech Capability Center, you will have the opportunity to be part of a new global innovation hub in India for a Fortune 100 Fastest-Growing Company in the MedTech sector. At ANSR MedTech, you will be working with world-class engineering, product, and technology talent to build next-generation healthcare platforms and solutions that power global operations. Role Overview: - Work on real, production-grade products that require high engineering rigor, reliability, and regulatory discipline. - Be part of a team spanning embedded software, mobile applications, systems engineering, test automation, and lifecycle engineering. - Contribute to end-to-end R&D workflowsfrom development and verification through sustaining engineering and triage. - Help build and scale a new R&D capability from the ground up, shaping labs, automation, ways of working, and quality culture. - Partner directly with senior global R&D leaders and engineers, gaining exposure to how products are built and operated at enterprise scale. Key Responsibilities: - Establish, grow, and lead Client's R&D center in Bengaluru as a world-class capability hub. - Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent across mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, systems, and test domains. - Lead execution of R&D programs from concept through verification/validation in collaboration with global teams. - Partner closely with global R&D, Quality, Operations, Clinical, and Regulatory teams. - Identify emerging technology opportunities in AI/ML, embedded systems, electronics miniaturization, IoT/cloud, and wearable medical device design. Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or regulated hardware/software products. - Experience scaling and operating a high-growth R&D center or large engineering organization in India. - Strong understanding of systems engineering, product development lifecycle, and design controls in a regulated environment. - Experience working with global stakeholders across US/EU/Asia. - Bachelor's degree in engineering; Advanced Degree or MBA is a plus. - Experience in diabetes, drug delivery, wearable medical devices, or connected health products. - Expertise in both hardware and software engineering domains. - Track record of building organizations. - Strategic thinking and long-term vision. - High emotional intelligence and people-first leadership. - Commitment to patient safety, quality, and compliance.
