The Role Were hiring a full-time Product Engineer based in India who will design, code, and ship high-impact features across the stack. Youll work directly with the founding team in 12 week product sprints and own the outcome of every feature you build. This role requires strong frontend experience, particularly in Next.js, as well as the ability to work independently across backend services and AI infrastructure. What Youll Do Design, build, and ship features from scratch across frontend and backend. Create polished user interfaces and seamless user experiences with React and Next.js. Build AI-powered tools for search, citation mapping, summarization, and more. Develop backend APIs using Python and FastAPI, with database logic in Postgres. Work with semantic search, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines for AI features. Participate in fast product sprints with rapid feedback and tight iteration loops. Take full ownership of your workfrom architecture to deployment to performance monitoring. Requirements Based in India and able to work remotely during U.S. working hours, with daily standups. Frontend: Strong skills in React and Next.js, with a clear eye for UI/UX. Backend: Proficient in Python, with hands-on experience using FastAPI in production. AI infrastructure: Familiarity with LLM pipelines, RAG frameworks, and vector databases such as FAISS, Weaviate, or Pinecone. Databases: Solid experience with Postgres and database design. Styling/UI: Experience using Tailwind or a similar utility-first CSS framework. Workflow tools: Proficient with Git, Docker, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
