We're Hiring | Subject Matter Expert – Digital Technologies (Industrial Equipment & Heavy Machinery) Location: Chennai, India Experience: 20+ Years Mandatory: Valid US Business Visa Are you a seasoned Digital Engineering leader with deep expertise in Industrial Equipment & Heavy Machinery Our client is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead digital transformation initiatives, drive solution architecture, and advise global clients on next-generation engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead Digital Engineering & Industry 4.0 transformation programs. Drive solution architecture across IoT, IIoT, Digital Twin, AI/ML, Cloud, and Edge Computing . Own end-to-end delivery of large ER&D programs with global customers. Partner with CIOs, Engineering Leaders, and Product Heads as a trusted advisor. Lead presales activities including RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, and customer workshops. Build Centres of Excellence (CoEs), mentor engineering teams, and define best practices. Collaborate with global delivery teams across offshore and onsite locations. Mandatory Skills ✔ 20+ years of experience in Digital Engineering / ER&D ✔ 8+ years in ER&D with 3+ years as a Digital SME / Solution Architect ✔ Industrial Equipment & Heavy Machinery domain expertise ✔ Strong experience in IoT/IIoT, Digital Twin, AI/ML, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Data Engineering ✔ Hands-on experience with Digital Engineering, Product Development & Smart Manufacturing ✔ Experience in Presales, Client Advisory & Solution Architecture ✔ Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps & Digital Product Engineering ✔ Programming exposure to Python and/or C++ ✔ Experience working with Global OEMs / Industrial Equipment organizations ✔ Valid US Business Visa (Mandatory) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Automotive, Computer Science or related disciplines) Experience in offshore-onsite global delivery models Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills Why Apply Lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives for global Industrial Equipment clients.
