Design & Estimation Engineer

Use specialised software to create models and drawings of products Research new materials and methods of development Organise and maintain existing engineering records Construct prototypes and confirm designs with design/purchasing team Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges Understand the client requirements and provide an estimation of the project to customers by coordinating with sales people. Job Specification: Bachelor s Degree in Industrial Design, Electrical and Instrumentation or related field 3+ years experience in design In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software Knowledge of AUTOCAD and EPLAN software Extensive knowledge of metal fabrication processes Professional work experience reviewing and analysing prototypes and product modifications Understanding of current cutting tool technology.
