Job Title- IND Sr Consultant I Reinsurance Solutions Client Solutions ARL- 6.1 Solution Line- Reinsurance Solutions Position type- Full Time Work Location- Bangalore, Whitefield Working style- In Office (Hybrid) / Virtual Cab Facility- Yes Shift Time - 08.30 PM to 05.30 PM People Manager role: No GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE This role is part of the Impact Forecasting, Aon s catastrophe model development centre. The global Impact Forecasting team of 150 members based in 5 offices around the world (Prague, London, Chicago, Singapore and Bangalore) consists of scientists, model and software developers and client services colleagues. The main function of the team is to develop, maintain, support and promote the use of catastrophe models for various natural and man-made perils including flood, windstorm, earthquake, fire and terrorism. We seek an energetic and reliable person to join our Client Solutions team. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues, internal stakeholders and external clients, validating and implementing catastrophe risk models and providing advisory support on Impact Forecasting s proprietary software platform, ELEMENTS. This is a full time role based in India, preferably in Bangalore. Hybrid or virtual work arrangements may be available in line with Aon s policies. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Use Impact Forecasting catastrophic risk models to deliver insights for clients Design and build solutions and tools that improve user experience and enhance data processing capabilities Provide hands-on guidance on Impact Forecasting s proprietary software platform, ELEMENTS, to both internal and external clients Offer software advisory support from troubleshooting, data preparation to interpreting and presenting the results Collaborate closely with global Impact Forecasting R&D teams on the development, validation and implementation of new and existing models Partner with business development, catastrophe management, analytics teams and clients across Asia-Pacific, the US and Europe as needed. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED A degree in business related or quantitative field, preferably Statistics, Mathematics or similar field 3-4 years of experience in Reinsurance/Catastrophe modeling is preferred Good knowledge of SQL and/or Python, experience with GIS tools is an advantage Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills and attention to detail, with good overall computing skills Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (written and verbal), with the confidence to work with stakeholders across different levels and business units Willingness to learn and a strong curiosity for innovation and emerging technologies.
