Data Science Internship

Role Overview: As an intern at ABEX, you will be responsible for various data science tasks to support the team in solving specific business problems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: - Data Collection & Preprocessing: Collect, clean, and preprocess raw data from various sources for analysis and modeling. - Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct EDA to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in the dataset. - Building & Training Models: Assist in building, training, and evaluating machine learning models. - Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analyses on datasets to uncover insights and guide decisions. - Feature Engineering: Transform raw data into features to improve model performance. - Data Visualization & Reporting: Create data visualizations and dashboards to present key findings. - Model Optimization & Testing: Help optimize models through techniques like hyperparameter tuning and cross-validation. - Collaboration with Teams: Work with data engineers, business analysts, and other teams to understand project requirements. - Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of models, workflows, and analytical processes. - Stay Updated with New Techniques: Continuously learn and apply new data science methods to improve efficiency and model accuracy. Qualifications Required: - Passionate about making a real impact and learning from the best. - Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Familiarity with data science methods, tools, and techniques is a plus.
