Application Support Analyst

As an Application Support Analyst 1 at APEX Analytix located in Gurugram, IND, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and support for apexportal Solutions software applications. Your role will involve interacting with clients, troubleshooting support tickets, and possessing a strong IT background. Here is a snapshot of what you would do in this role: Key Responsibilities: - Manage and resolve technical support tickets. - Collaborate with Product Manager and R&D teams to prioritize support tickets. - Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. - Test product-level functionality, identify areas for improvement, and test new releases. - Serve as the technical expert for client software implementations. - Conduct software upgrades and troubleshoot network, database, and software problems. - Configure system settings, perform testing, and create rules and data mappings using SQL queries. - Present technical overviews to clients and manage technical environment setup for hosted clients. - Lead testing of interfaces and work with Help Desk personnel to resolve client installation issues. - Enforce corporate policies documented in the Apex Corporate Security Standards. Qualifications Required: - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. - Exposure to SQL Server and proficiency in data definition, manipulation, and control. - Experience in SQL including creating and troubleshooting DTS packages, stored procedures, and complex data queries. - Knowledge of FTP, secure FTP, PGP, Command Prompt, and its commands. - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Experience with Accounts Payable applications in ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, or J.D. Edwards preferred. - Customer-facing experience with large customers preferred. - 1-2 years of experience in SQL.
