As a Native Android Developer joining our team on a 1-year contractual assignment based in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai, you will be responsible for the following: - Designing, developing, and maintaining native Android applications. - Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java and Kotlin. - Collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions. - Integrating REST APIs and third-party services. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues. - Optimizing application performance, scalability, and security. - Participating in code reviews and following development best practices. - Ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks and project milestones. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. Required Skills: - Strong experience in Native Android Development. - Proficiency in Java and Kotlin. - Good understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and application lifecycle. - Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and API integrations. - Knowledge of MVVM/MVP Architecture. - Familiarity with Jetpack Components. - Experience with Git version control. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Firebase. - Knowledge of Coroutines and Flow. - Experience with Room Database. - Familiarity with Hilt/Dagger dependency injection. - Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store.
