As a Senior Engineer/Full Stack Developer at Apollo, your primary role will be to innovate, manage, direct, architect, design, and implement solutions focused on trade operations and controller functions across Private Equity, Credit, and Real Assets. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders in the Middle Office, Controllers teams, Credit, and Opportunistic Technology teams to successfully deliver business requirements, projects, and programs. Your proven skills in independently managing the full software development lifecycle will be essential in defining and refining problem statements and delivering quality solutions on time. Your ability to quickly learn and embrace emerging technologies will drive innovation and improve the correctness, quality, and timeliness of solutions delivered by the team. Key Responsibilities: - Design elegant solutions for systems that are simple, extensible, maintainable, and of high quality. - Provide hands-on technical expertise in architecture, design, development, code reviews, quality assurance, observability, and product support. - Mentor and nurture team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, disciplined software engineering practices, and continuous improvement. - Optimize team processes to enhance productivity and responsiveness to feedback and changing priorities. - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, collaborate effectively, and deliver high-impact value. - Manage deliverables from requirement gathering through deployment and post-production, ensuring successful outcomes. Qualifications & Experience: - Masters or bachelors degree in Computer Science or another STEM field. - 8+ years of software development experience in Alternative Asset Management or Investment Banking. - Experience in Java, C++, or C# for OO languages, and Web 2.0 UI/UX development using frameworks like ExtJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, or Vue. - Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST, Messaging, JPA, SQL, RESTful, and Microservices architecture. - Experience with TDD/BDD/ATDD and tools like Junit, Spring Test, TestNG, or Cucumber. - Strong understanding of SOLID principles, Design Patterns, relational databases, BPM, CI/CD practices, and debugging skills. - Ability to learn new technologies and adopt solutions from open-source communities. - Experience with buy-side operational processes, BPM platforms, OpenAPI, GraphQL, Azure, microservices, NoSQL databases, Python, and functional programming will be a plus.
