Role Overview: Join the IS&T Product Engineering Systems group as a Software Architect, where you will be responsible for crafting and developing high-quality enterprise software solutions. Your role will involve working on the Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management transformation initiative to deliver the next-generation PLM/PIM Platform driving Apple's Product Innovation across hardware, software, and services lines of business. Key Responsibilities: - Work with business partners to define project requirements - Develop architecture, detail design, implementation, and maintenance - Own all engineering and product feature work in release cycles - Design and develop solutions for scalability, extensibility, security, and performance - Communicate and collaborate with multi-functional IS&T and Business groups - Operate with minimal directions, exhibit self-motivation and creativity for on-time results - Demonstrate experience in designing complex data/integration architectures and leading other developers and vendors - Utilize strong multi-tasking skills effectively Qualifications Required: - 15 years of experience in developing enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Web Services (e.g., RESTful, SOAP), Spring Framework, SpringBoot, Hibernate, and ORM - Proficiency in micro-services architectures, container-based deployment (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), web development (JavaScript, NodeJS, React, Bootstrap), and relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases - Experience with collaboration tools for software configuration management, agile project management, and knowledge repositories - Effective interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills Additional Details: The IS&T Product Engineering Systems group at Apple offers a dynamic work environment where you are encouraged to "Think Different" and play a crucial role in the success of Apple's product design and innovation.
