Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (Intern)

Job Summary Job Description – Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (Fresher) We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Fresher) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in software testing principles, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies and tools. The candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software across web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities Understand business requirements and functional specifications. Prepare, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios. Perform Manual Testing, including Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Exploratory Testing. Identify, document, and track defects throughout the Bug Life Cycle. Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before release. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman. Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Prepare test reports and maintain QA documentation. Perform production validation and release verification. Continuously learn and adopt new testing tools, technologies, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate should have: A good understanding of Software Testing concepts, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle). Knowledge of Manual Testing methodologies and best practices. Understanding of test case design, test scenarios, Bug Life Cycle, and defect reporting. Good knowledge of API Testing using tools like Postman. Basic understanding of SQL and the ability to write simple queries for database validation. Good knowledge of Automation Testing concepts and exposure to tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good documentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously. Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies. Educational Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, Electronics, or a related field. Recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience are encouraged to apply. Preferred Skills (Good to Have)Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools. Basic knowledge of Android and iOS application testing. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology. Exposure to automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools. Basic knowledge of Git or version control systems.
