Senior Information Technology Security Officer

Position: IT Security Engineer Location: Viman Nagar, Pune, MH (India) 411032 Onsite - (Work from Office - 5 days a week) Shifts: 6:30 pm 4:00 am IST Experience: 4+ years Employment Type: Full-Time Overview We are looking for an IT Security Engineer with 4+ years of experience to manage the organization's IT security, compliance, and infrastructure while serving as the primary customer-facing representative at the client site. The ideal candidate will ensure a secure IT environment, resolve security incidents, maintain compliance, and support day-to-day IT operations across Azure and AWS environments. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary on-site IT Security representative for the client and manage stakeholder interactions.Manage and secure the organization's IT infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments.Configure and manage Firewalls, VPNs, Endpoint Security, and user access controls.Handle security incidents, escalations, vulnerability remediation, and incident resolution.Provision and deprovision user accounts, configure new systems, and manage IT assets and inventory.Implement and support IT security solutions and product deployments.Monitor compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices.Conduct employee awareness sessions on IT Security, Security Breaches, Whistle-blower Policy, and Incident Reporting.Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure timely resolution of IT security and infrastructure issues. Required Skills 4+ years of experience in IT Security, Infrastructure, Network security and Security Compliance.Hands-on experience with Firewall, VPN, Endpoint Security, Incident Management, and IT Infrastructure.Experience with Azure (IT Infrastructure) and AWS (Cloud applications/products).Strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management, User Administration, Asset Management, and IT Security Policies.Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD, User Management, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, etc.), or similar endpoint and identity management tools.Experience with Vulnerability Management and Compliance ManagementExcellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Experience in the Healthcare domain.Knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, or other security compliance frameworks.Relevant certifications such as Security+, AZ-500, SC-900, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent.
